O'Neill Vests and Wetsuits

Sometime around 1953, Jack O'Neill opened the first surf shop in a garage in San Francisco. With the cold-water waves of Ocean Beach, O'Neill dreamed of a solution to extend the longevity of a Northern California surf session. His experimentation in the rubber world began by gluing neoprene vests together. Once the vests began to sell, he started in on wetsuits. As O'Neill's wetsuits improved, surfing territories expanded and it became a year round lifestyle. By 1980, O'Neill had transpired to be a world leader in wetsuits, vests, and surf style clothing. They continue to thrive in the wakeboard industry with unbeatable fit and performance in their neoprene wakeboard vests and wetsuits.
