Width is the best thing to hit wakeboarding if done right. Trevor did it right. Trevor rides with a style that makes his riding look effortless. Lay your eyes on the Marius and the first thing you will see is that it is the widest board ever. This extra width means mucho surface area which translates into lift, soft landings and great room for stickers. Wide boards are historically harder to edge which is why most on the market are short wide boards The brilliant minds at CWB developed V-Tech to enable the first fully functioning wide, long board on the market. This deep V means rocker at the corner is nearly 3", but in the middle it is almost an inch lower. The V-Tech makes the long wide board switch edges incredibly fast, turning like a long narrow board. Gone are the days of sacrificing pop when edging hard. With V-Tech and the massive real estate packed into the Marius, bring on the pop!
CWB Faction Wakeboard Binding 2008
The change starts now. The new 6 plate trims roughly two pounds per pair of boots. The new Lock Jaw system that is 60% lighter. The new Hinge movement cleans up the boot dubbed the Switch Hinge. Houndstooth! Say it isn't so!! The 2008 Faction boot is beautiful. Using the new 6 Plate, this boot is light. When partnered with the Faction board, you can't keep your eyes off of it. The Faction is a lower cut boot that has been designed to be a soft upper to give the ability to poke that toe five. We have found a fabric compound that flexes like that of rubber but maintains the fresh look of leather. What does this do for you? It enables you to ride a boot that looks money, but will allow you to release out of your boot on a hard fall so your ankles don't scream at you.
